Description: Bronze with dark brown patina, 45.7 x 44.5 x 44.5 cm. Signed, inscribed, numbered, dated and stamped with foundry mark 'GiVAUDAN/ TO DAVID ROCKEFELLER/ WITH GRATITUDE/ THE TRILATERAL COMMISSION/ 1/4/ E. GODARD Fondt./1991' (on base)Catalogue note: Marie-Thérèse Givaudan, a French sculptor, a pupil of Germaine Richier, devoted most of her work to the search for the human face. She participated in the exhibitions of the Salon d'Automne from 1951, named Member in 1952; exhibits in Biel "Sculpture in the open air" in 1954; at the Rath museum in Geneva and at the Institut de France, portrait contest Paul-Louis Weiller in 1972 and 1974. Marie-Thérèse Givaudan also exhibited at the Bénézit Gallery.
