Description: Quartz, 13.5 cm high
Catalogue note: The figure is carved seated wearing long flowing robes, with the right hand holding a ritual bell and the left hand holding an alms bowl. The stone is of a pale pink tone with cloudy inclusions.
Provenance: Acquired from Christie’s, Sale 16311, Lot 261, Invoice no. DB18013545. Acquired prior to 1942, then by descent within the family.
